Job Description

We are looking for an AI Researcher to join our dynamic team and support the development of new artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for the life sciences field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, as well as experience in applying AI to solve real-world problems dealing with biological, genetic and the broader medical field.

Under limited supervision, the Associate Researcher II conducts experiments using advanced techniques specific to the research project. Analyzes and assists in interpreting moderately complex results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and apply AI models and systems to solve real-world and theoretical problems in life sciences, such as therapeutic drug discovery, disease diagnosis, and personalized medicine.
  • Conduct research in cutting-edge areas of AI, such as deep learning, convolutional neural networks, trained and untrained machine learning.
  • Collaborate with technologists, scientists, and biomedical engineers to translate research into practical applications.
  • Publish research papers in top academic conferences and journals.
  • Present research findings at industry conferences and workshops.

1.*Conducts experiments using advanced research techniques specific to subject matter of the research project.

2.*Analyzes and assists in interpreting moderately complex results.

3.*Performs assays to support research studies.

4.*Assists in new and unexpected research experiments and techniques.

5.*Assists in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation.

  1. May train less-experienced research staff and postdoctoral fellows in research techniques and use of equipment.
  2. Performs other related duties

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in sciences or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years in a research environment or 1 year plus Masters Degree in sciences or related field
