The Hasso Plattner Institute for Digital Health (HPI.MS) and the Windreich Department of Artificial Intelligence and Human Health are seeking Software Developers to may this goal a reality. Established in 2019, HPI.MS is the first Trans-Atlantic partnership to conduct patient-engaged and data-driven research in healthcare. Housed within the Windreich Department of AI & Human Health, the department is the first of its kind to be established in a medical school.
Summary of Job
You will be responsible for the design and development of an advanced AI research infrastructure and contribute to research projects including:
Computational Pathology: The Computational Pathology Initiative is focused on building large AI systems based on deep-learning from petabytes of image data to find cancer, classify cancer and predict patient outcomes.
Digital Discovery Program (DDP): The DDP comprehensive digital health research program of patient-centric health studies using wearable, mobile and sensor technologies serves as a scalable platform for digital trials in order to better understand complex diseases and optimize health and wellbeing.
AI Ready Mount Sinai (AIR.MS): Leveraging expertise in computer science and engineering, we've built a platform where researchers can access the vast datasets held at Mount Sinai for data science and machine learning endeavors.

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $109,000.00 - $163,695.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
