Job Description

The Neuroemergencies Management and Transfers (NEMAT) program triages neuroemergencies throughout the Mount Sinai Health System to ensure that all patients presenting within the health system have access to timely care. The [Analyst/RPC] manages data for the NEMAT Quality Assurance database. The [Analyst/RPC] is responsible for regularly reporting data to relevant stakeholders and ensuring that all active research projects continue to move forward.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages large relational databases for department quality assurance/quality improvement and research projects.
• Conducts statistical analysis for reports, abstracts, grants, and publications.
• Delivers and presents data reports to PI and other stakeholders on a monthly basis.
• Assists in writing abstracts, grants, clinical trial protocols, and manuscripts.
• Prepares regulatory and grant submissions; maintain regulatory approvals for all projects.
• Assists with all study start-up activities for new clinical trials and regularly coordinates with sponsors.
• Coordinates with relevant stakeholders to manage active research studies and ensure all activities move forward along the expected timelines.
• Onboards and oversees NEMAT lab volunteers.
• Performs other related duties.

Requirements: 

Education

Master’s Degree in Natural Science or Bachelor’s in Science plus 5 years of research experience with some in research administration preferred.

Experience

Data analysis experience using SPSS, SAS, and/or R required.

4 years in research environment

Interest in statistics/data science preferred.
