At Fidelity Personal Investing (PI), we are seeking an experienced Architecture Lead in our Foundational Architecture group leading the Core and Common AI / ML Architecture team. You will be passionate about building core capabilities of AI/ML systems to be reused across the Enterprise. Included within the scope of this team are the Data Science Platform (DSP), emerging Large Language Model (LLM) and Prompt platforms, Conversational AI, and other core capabilities that will be needed to support the next generation of AI/ML technology at Fidelity. This team is responsible for linking between emerging data science, AI, and engineering to build enterprise grade AI/ML core platforms.

This role will be a leadership role, guiding a team of AI / ML architects in collaboration with business partners to drive the overall technical strategy and solutions architecture. You and your team, working closely with engineering, will be responsible for all aspects of the solution architecture: technology selection, platform reuse, security, data strategy and more. You will collaborate with other product areas and business units to influence and help drive the AI/ML strategy across the organization.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Experience leading a team of highly skilled architects and mentoring new architects

• Proven experience architecting high performance scalable platforms

• Deep knowledge in current AI/ML technologies as well understanding the emerging landscape

• Experience in AWS or Azure ML offerings (e.g. SageMaker) with certificate(s) preferred

• Experience leading technology selections, build vs buy, and vendor comparisons.

• Practical knowledge of Domain Driven Design and applying concepts within a large capability ecosystem

The Team

Fidelity Personal Investing (PI) Architecture and Core Engineering (ACE) team is seeking an individual who is looking for an important and rewarding opportunity to help change and influence the future of PI applications and products powered by our AI/ML platforms. As a leader of an architecture team, you will take part in developing new platforms and enhancing existing platforms to create the foundations we need to power customer and associate tools with AI. You will work with architecture and application teams to help champion innovation, drive standardization and deliver on new technology patterns across the stack for our associate and customer use.

Fidelity Personal Investing Architecture provides strategic technology direction and architecture vision for Fidelity's Personal Investing businesses.
