Job Description

Fidelity's Enterprise Technology, Office of the CIO, in collaboration with Fidelity’s Data Engineering Data Science Center of Excellence, seeks an experienced Data Scientist to join our growing team of specialists. The successful candidate will work with technology squads in the Managing the Work Product Area, and with their customers across Fidelity Technology to perform the following activities: define requirements; identify and source required data; employ statistical, AI and machine-learning techniques; calculate analytic, predictive and prescriptive solutions; and explain those solutions to the customer.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Masters Degree in Data Science or related field is required
• More than 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Demonstrated knowledge of statistical and data science to apply them
• Experience with text analytics or natural language processing
• Drive to learn new techniques and business contexts in which to apply them
• Strong user of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Hands-on expertise in data extraction and cleaning, feature extraction and creation; model training and evaluation
• Advocate for best practices, standard methods, and continued learning
• Knowledge of big data and analytical technologies
• Knowledge of Agile project management and SDLC
• Knowledge of Cloud Architecture and services

The Data Engineering Data Science Center of Excellence are data scientists committed to innovation across Enterprise Technology groups and their customers.
