What to Expect

As an Integration Engineer within our Autonomy teams, you will contribute to one of the most advanced and widely deployed AI Platforms in the world for Autopilot and our Humanoid Robot.

In this role you will work across multiple functions to ensure seamless integration of Autonomy features with vehicle and telemetry systems, enable functionality on exciting new vehicle and robotics platforms, and implement innovative features that leverage the power of Tesla AI. You will define and maintain content and configurations that support global vehicle platforms and facilitate regional homologation.

What You’ll Do

• Write, debug and maintain robust C/C++ software for the Autopilot and our Humanoid robot software stack.
• Integrate Autopilot features and controls with other vehicle systems and user interfaces.
• Develop and iterate on new features through simulation, validation, and targeted fleet data analysis.
• Optimize feature effectiveness while minimizing power consumption.
• Define requirements and coordinate with relevant vehicle subsystem owners, manufacturing, service, and other teams.
• Bring up Autonomy features on new vehicle and compute platforms.

What You’ll Bring

• Practical experience programming in C/C++ software, including modern C/C++ (C++14/17/20), multithreading, and Python. Cuda/OpenCL experience a plus.
• Experience with embedded systems software design concepts.
• Familiarity with Computer Vision, Machine Learning & related software concepts.
• Experience with automotive communication standards such as CAN, Etherloop, and Ethernet.
• Proficient developing software on a Linux host, for embedded Linux targets (cross-compilation, etc.) a plus.
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Expected Compensation

$104,000 - $360,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
