Job Description

  • Lead product development activity to create innovative technology to improve image guided therapy delivery in the structural heart disease space.
  • Direct, design, prototype, and test software algorithms that will be a part of an overall imaging system. You will work closely with mechanical, acoustic, and software engineers to architect and implement advanced product concepts.
  • Integrate a multi-component system, including device, software and hardware elements for ultrasound and image guided cardiac therapy.
  • Translate high-level objectives into detailed technical plans, execute the plan individually and/or through others; conduct reviews with the cross-functional project team and update business leadership on key technical and milestone risks.
  • Interface with physicians, customers, and internal teammates to define unmet clinical needs in the structural heart disease device space and translate Voice-of-Customer requirements to design requirements.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 10+ years of engineering experience in the design and commercialization of medical products; experience with structural heart and cardiac devices preferred.
  • Experience with algorithm design and implementation (including image registration, image segmentation, deep learning networks).
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Medical Physics, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • You have the ability to make things happen by encouraging and channeling the contributions of others, recognizing, and addressing important issues in a timely manner, and acting as an agent for change and continual improvement when required to achieve results.
  • You will have high level programming skills (Python, MATLAB, C++, LabVIEW), prototyping and test method development, interpreting/presenting data, conducting advanced statistical analysis, and writing technical reports.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office / Remote position.
