Job Description

Your role:

The greater impact of this role.

• You will be responsible to create, design and develop intricate data processing pipelines, addressing most challenging data problems.

• You will lead data engineering projects from inception to completion and ensuring on-time delivery with cross team collaboration.

• Ensure Enterprise Common Data Model definitions and associated standards, Designs of structures are well implemented in your Data platform.

• You will design, develop and operate modern data Lakehouse architecture.

• You will define the strategy to incorporate data quality into your day-to-day work.

• Data Integration / Data exchange across Philips – Collaborative task with Master data management and Data Integration/ API enablement.

• Align Data Architecture across Value chains in context of I2M, M2O, O2C

• Alignment of data architecture for product domain with enterprise and IT architecture together with Data Scientists, Data Analysts, EA, Business and platform architects.

• Ensure code quality and governance is maintained and relevant CI/CD best practices are applied.

What we are looking for

BE/B-Tech/M-Tech/MCA professional with overall experience of 13+ years with relevant architecture experience of 5 years.

Technology Areas

• Strong understanding of complex business problems to ensure projects are leveraging the appropriate technology and the technical design. 

• Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management.

• Experience in moving data from on-premises data platforms to cloud and designing cloud native data warehouse platform.

• Experience in data integration.

• Strong understanding of data modelling (preferably medallion architecture)

• Experience working with transactional, temporal, and structured and unstructured data. 

• Big Data and Data Warehouses including Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly Azure SQL DW), Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Explorer

• Advanced Analytics including Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Bricks, data visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau)

• Data Science and Machine Learning (i.e. Azure ML, ML Server, TensorFlow, or other similar frameworks) 

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, storage optimization and query optimizations.

• Experience in delivering/managing lifecycle of software/services using DevOps/MLOps.

• Experience working on enterprise data lake using Python, Spark.
