Job Description

• Maintain and improve current model-based algorithms and act as technical lead for integration of AI and DL technologies into products. Advise on the latest AI trends and their potential applicability to product portfolio and develop AI & DL models specific to the DMS product portfolio.
• Act as liaison between Philips Research and DMS Research & Development and master Philips’ product realization processes in order to help bring products to market.
• Develop technical and clinical validation frameworks and/or protocols to help ensure clinical success. Interact with clinical partners to elucidate user requirements and objectives.
• Support & advise regulatory submissions as AI subject matter expert.
• Travel to partner sites to install, train, and observe clinical procedures, promote knowledge sharing and education across the engineering department, and provide technical leadership across multiple software projects. Must be willing to travel to clinical sites & conferences. This is a hybrid role in Gainesville, FL or Cambridge, MA.

You're the right fit if:

• You’ve acquired a minimum of 10+ years’ combined experience in research and development in the medical science, 5+ years of experience in the development of AI and/or DL technologies for medical applications and have demonstrated achievement in medical image analysis research.
• Your skills include technical leadership, a commitment to production quality and an eagerness for learning new skills, technologies, and processes. You have a mastery of software development to realize and transfer innovation from research prototypes to production quality clinical applications and a familiarity with Agile development methodologies and processes.
• You have an advanced degree in Computer Science or related technical field (required); Doctorate degree in Computer Science, experience with real time, image-guided systems (preferred).
• You have strong computer coding skills in languages like C++ & Python; and have working knowledge of ML frameworks like PyTorch or MONAI.
• You’re a strong verbal and written communicator and can foster a culture of collaboration and trust among multiple teams of engineers, researchers, and clinical partners.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position is $120,000 to $222,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
