Job Description

• Work in collaboration with clinicians and clinical sonographers to optimize diagnostic ultrasound systems for optimum image quality on a range of transducers and imaging features. 
• Applying acoustic wave propagation and signal processing theory to the design and specification of new imaging algorithms and imaging sub-systems. Development and implementation of new ultrasound imaging capabilities, including development plans, algorithm design, integration strategy, and SW implementation.
• Apply advanced techniques such as deep learning and AI to improve ultrasound-imaging performance. Develop data augmentation methods based on ultrasound physics and imaging artifacts.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management organizations to define new feature requirements to meet specific clinical applications and market needs. Help translate marketing/customer requirements into engineering specifications.

You're the right fit if:

• You’ve acquired 3+ years’ experience in ultrasound research and/or product development focused on ultrasound beamforming, antenna design/modeling, optimal acquisition design, signal and image processing.
• Experience working in a clinical environment with clinical professionals (sonographers) focused on clinical science/research and translational research.
• An MS in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science. (PhD preferred)
• You have strong technical capabilities (Python, C++, MATLAB).
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office / Remote position.

Additional Information

This role is located in Bothell, WA and this role will work on-site as part of our hybrid way of working. This is not a remote position.
