You are responsible for

• Measures, analyzes, and assist improvement in GBS Operations via Data Science algorithms
• Leads development and usage of data science models (such as forecasting, regression and simulation) to support better decisions and improve performance of GBS Hubs and Functions
• Ability to develop and deliver analytics awareness raising programs to maximize organization benefits. Ability to provide strategic advises to senior executives.
• Design & integration with technical applications like Azure, Python, etc. with visualization tools.
• Drive excellent practices and technical standards for establishing data science driven root causes of performance measures and improvement plans for GBS Operations.
• Should be proficient at developing information suites (Dashboards, reports, visualizations) fit for C-level consumption.
• Implementing & performing software builds, deployment by closely working with project architects.
• Implement the best-in-class DevOps practices to enable Businesses deliver quality and on-time products.
• Understand the Business needs and come up with technical solutions to provide best in class Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment environment.
• Drive for automation wherever applicable to improve productivity and reduce Business pain points.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• 5+ years in software development/engineering including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.
• In depth understanding of all applicable tools and advanced skills in Azure SQL/Synapse, ADLS (Azure Data Lake Storage), Azure Data Factory (ADF)/ Azure Databricks (ADB) and other Azure services.
• Excellent in working with Azure database, storage, security, and development of Business Intelligence.
• Experienced working in DevOps principles, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) to test and build your code and ship it to any target.
• Expertise working with Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Query Optimization, Resolving performance issues.
• In-depth understanding & ability in database tuning and data transfer techniques with Microsoft SQL Server/Synapse.
• Strong background into Database design, modeling, and architecture
• Experience in dash boarding software tools for reporting.
• Domain knowledge in supply chain or marketing or sales is an added advantage.

Analytics solution life cycle competencies required

• Extensive knowledge of analytics principles; practiced and applied across areas of data wrangling, ML, recalibration, and model deployment.
• Ability to develop and deliver data awareness raising programs to maximize organization benefits.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders at Exec and Director/Sr. Director levels
• Highly driven, energetic, flexible, resourceful & ability to multitask

Work Experience

• 5+ years of experience in analytics & data science roles

Academics

• MBA /BTech-BE from IIT/NITs or Tier 1 engineering schools only, MS Stats/MS (Math)/MA Econ from Tier 1 schools, MS Analytics/Data Science from Tier 1 schools
• MSc degree in a quantitative discipline, e.g., Math, Statistics, Physics, Operations Research, Economics, Econometrics
