Job Description

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics, or applicable degree, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience data mining, machine learning, data visualization, and deep analytics; or Master's degree in Machine Learning/Data Science plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Candidates must be willing to undergo a CI poly if required by the customer.
• Thorough understanding of machine learning concepts, principles, and theories.
• Knowledge and experiences of Neural Network Architectures, data modeling, and evaluation.
• Skills and experiences in programming/scripting, machine learning (ML) using textual and pixel-based data sources, data visualization, ML architectures, experiment design; and deep analytics.
• Expert at applying technical standards and methodologies to resolve issues in creative ways to help company meet financial and business objectives.
• Very strong knowledge of software tools supporting machine learning and data analytics in Linux and Windows/NT environments.

As a Data Scientist, you perform scientific research and development using your analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, manage, convert, analyze, curate, clean and interpret large data sets. You work with a team of extraordinary scientists, engineers, and analysts. Together you perform tasks across the development lifecycle from research, design, and code through test and deployment. Relevant knowledge and skills include:

• Programming paradigms: functional programming, algorithms, parallel

  and distributed processing, multi-threaded programming, cloud computing, scientific computing, and object-oriented design.

• Frameworks and libraries: Agile, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Tensorflow, Keras, OpenCV, Scikit-learn, Scikit-image, Panda, Python Matplotlib
• Operation systems: Linux, Windows/NT.
• Microservice architecture implementation.
• Familiarity with code reuse and refactoring in a rapid prototyping environment.
• Proficiency in Python (or similar scripting language) and familiar with C/C++.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with distributed programming using Amazon Web Services.
• Familiarity with designing XML schemas and coding input/output.
• Knowledge and experience with Continuous Development/Continuous Integration (CD/CI) technologies including Rancher, Kubernetes, Knative Eventing/Serving for CloudEvent communications, Docker Containers, Micro-services, GitLab, Helm, and Skaffold a plus.
