Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join a multi-disciplined team of experienced individuals who will be driving the opportunity identification, solution design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics across the global enterprise. The team will be responsible both for analytics strategy and project-based solutions, focusing on the company’s most critical business areas like Battery Engineering, Product Engineering, and Quality Areas.

The Senior Delivery Manager position is a highly strategic position with responsibilities to lead the business engagement facing off with Senior Executives, leading development managers who are responsible for development, validation, publishing, and maintenance of analytics solutions to support business needs. You will be leading cross functional teams in delivering the prototypes, pilot, and onboarding analytical modules into business-critical applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 15 years in large scale data warehouse and data integration & analytics implementations
• At least 7 years of experience in a senior level for delivering programs
• Over 7 years of experience managing resources
• Experience with industry leading large-scale database platforms (i.e. Hadoop, Teradata, IBM DB2, HP Neoview, HP Vertica, Greenplum, Oracle Exadata, Kubernetes, Cloud Data Warehousing)
• Ability to build effective partnerships with senior leaders in the business
• Prior experience working on data & analytics strategy and roadmaps
• Experience building re-usable data integration and analytics frameworks and patterns
• A thorough understanding of industry best practices
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem solver with ability to evaluate a challenge and understand solution patterns
• Experience with development methodologies such as SAFe Agile
• Must be able to work in a collaborative, multi-site environment to support rapid development and delivery of results and capabilities
• Effectively communicating technical analyses, recommendations, status, and results to IT and business management and executives in business terms

Additional Description

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with industry standard manufacturing data models
• Experience with analytics tools (i.e. SAS, IBM SPSS, R, HP Autonomy)
• Experience with open source technologies (i.e. Hadoop/MapReduce, Spark, Lucene/ElasticSearch, Storm, Cassandra, etc)
