Job Description

As part of the team, you will have access to rich in-vehicle and business operations data for developing a mix of data analytics and machine learning based approaches. You will be contributing to the complete end-to-end process of developing AI solutions including gathering data requirements, building data processing pipelines, finding the best approaches to the problem, developing the AI models, building the appropriate application interface, and deploying the solution either to cloud or embedded systems. We also encourage publishing novel research at ML conferences or filing patents.

What You'll Do

  • Support other team members and the organization for AI use case exploration & for architecting complex AI solutions to solve ambiguous problems.
  • Design, implement and evaluate statistics methods, machine learning models, and other AI algorithms to deliver solutions with the best quality and highest performance.
  • Work in collaboration with IT to deploy AI solutions in a production environment.
  • Work in a fast-paced agile environment with cross functional teams and maintain relationship with key technical stakeholders.
  • Effective verbal and written communication of research findings and development status.

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities

  • MSc. or PhD in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or other relevant technical fields.
  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience with developing machine learning models.
  • Industry exposure in applying AI to one or more areas: Computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, and operations research.
  • Detailed knowledge of advanced statistics, probability, and of supervised, semi/self-supervised and unsupervised learning.
  • Hands-on experience using Python with a strong understanding of OOP and at least one machine learning framework such as Tensorflow and PyTorch
  • Experience in designing end-to-end machine learning systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of algorithms and data structures

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge

  • Previous experience as a Tech Lead or experience in a similar role.
  • Publications and/or patents.
  • Experience with UNIX tools and shell scripting.
  • Experience with data tools and ecosystems (Hive, Spark, etc.).
  • Experience using SQL/NoSQL and knowledge in database management.
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, and/or other visualization tools.
  • Proficient programming skills in C and/or C++.
  • Experience in deploying solutions to embedded real time systems or to cloud.
