Job Description

The analytics operations lead is an expert on scaling analytics services that acts as a thought partner to the different teams that analytics support. The role is also expected to strategize and manage inflow of talents from external vendors and Roche internal teams that drive product built, maintenance and service support. The role is expected to lead complex team setups with heterogeneous stakeholders to achieve measurable outcomes. We are looking for a selfless leaders who influence without authority and promote synergies between the commercial teams.

In this position, the person will be accountable to consistently and effectively:

• Create a global offering for analytics operations covering both the global functions and the 100+ affiliates that are supported by the offering.

• Consolidate the analytics services teams in the most optimal way and position each team offering to enhance the value of commercial operations.

• Provide strategic insights to capture the user feedback and a continuous improvement of the process and service

• Eradicate bottlenecks and drive analytics operations to team to success measured through feedback from customers and improved operational effeciency

• Managing the inflow of analyst and the sourcing strategy including internalization and best support for different analytics analysts and other operational roles profiles

• Develop, implement, and evolve the capabilities that the analytics services teams provide to the organization.

• Provide analytical thought partnership and expertise to other areas of the organization.

• Collaborate within cross-functional teams to support solutions, gain alignment and deliver impactful business insights; engage necessary stakeholders to enable better decision-making

• Openly share perspective and insights to elevate team thinking and drive a balanced, holistic point of view; effectively weigh and communicate trade-off considerations

• Take an enterprise mindset, linking individual responsibilities with broader organization; focus on outcomes that provide most business value

Key Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Masters/PhD in Data Science, Statistics, or related graduate-level degree

• At least 9 years analytical experience, with at least 3 years within pharmaceutical or biotech industry

• Excellent communication skills; strong network around data science and analytics

• Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding qualitative, as well as any relevant quantitative, targets and goals

• Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and to develop and maintain strong partnerships

• Exceptional structured problem-solving and strategic agility abilities

• Agile Certifications, preferably Scrum.org (Professional Scrum Product Owner) or Scrum Alliance (Certified Product Owner)

• Excellent communication skills: simplifying complex information into clear, synthesized insights and presenting them to stakeholders at all levels of the organization

• Experience with global pharmaceutical data: syndicated sales, promotional & marketing data, longitudinal patient-level data, payer data.

• Knowledge of quantitative primary market research methodologies and their objectives (e.g. patient and physician segmentation, brand equity measurement, adaptive/choice based conjoint) is essential, market research agency experience is a requirement.

• Experience working in complex project structures involving multiple stakeholders ,business partners and strategic vendors

• Ability to communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form, including experience and level of comfort presenting concepts to senior executives
