About The Role:

As an Automation and AI Business Partner, you will be focused, but not limited to coordinate and lead initiatives, experiments, proof of concepts, productive pilots and system implementation of Automation, Artificial Intelligence solutions. You will work in collaborative and agile environment, surrounded by other Automation & Data enthusiasts at the Roche Services and Solutions (RSS), building amazing solutions for our Roche peers and ultimately impacting our patients. 

In addition, the Automation and AI BP will work with other Automation & AI Business Partners from multiple locations and Global Product Owners to align strategic direction and activities, share learnings and best practices as well as support and bring digital solutions. You will help keeping the important balance between assessing and deploying only relevant initiatives and monitoring existing portfolio of solutions. With your help, the team will be focused on building and maintaining only what adds value to Roche.

You will be part of RSS Analytics and Automation - a global team with regional presence in Switzerland, India, Costa Rica, Hungary and Malaysia. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Facilitate process improvement, automation, machine learning and AI use case identification and requirements gathering in collaborating with Process Experts, Business Partners and other relevant stakeholders.
• Lead implementation of Automation & AI solutions focused, but not limited, to your region
• Create relevant project documentation, such as process designs, requirements, status reports, as per project squad role requires.
• Work closely with Automation Developers and support design, deployment, test and operation phase from business side and is responsible for connecting additional business experts with the respective teams
• Partner with stakeholders to identify repetitive process and system issues, collaborating with other teams to implement process and technical changes to close gaps
• Identify technology market trends in the field of Automation and AI, and influence its implementation to meet (un)known business demands.
• Support in the maintenance of our demands portfolio and optimizing the Portfolio of deployed solutions:
• Monitor existing solutions considering areas like: Incident/Request management, user adoption, planned benefits, among others.
• Identify and drive initiatives to increase adoption and secure past investments
• Decommission deprecated solutions

Who you are?

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline is required.
• 3+ Year experience in an Global Business Process Specialist or Affiliate working on regional/global projects and automation/AI initiatives
• 3+ years of experience in Automation/AI projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of ERP Systems. Experience with SAP S4/HANA is a plus
• Usage of a Process Mining Tool is a plus
• Advanced Experience creating/leading projects using RPA Tools (must), and at least one of the following: Google Apps Scripts, SAP Scripting, Appsheet, AWS, GCP, VBA.
• Strong communicator (especially to senior management)
• Exceptional Stakeholder Management and Change Management capability
• Experience with Agile and/or Lean methodologies
• Experience in Project Management
• Strong ability to influence others without authority
• Ability to navigate through a complex, broad, and diverse organization and can liaise effectively with different organization
