Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer. The successful candidate will primarily work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) services to design, develop, and maintain our data solutions. The individual we seek has deep interest and proficiency in cloud computing, data processing, bioinformatics, and enjoys leveraging new technologies such as Large Language Models (LLM) to solve complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and implementation of Large Language Models (LLMs) for various tasks.

• Use LLMs to extract and retrieve information from large databases hosted on AWS.

• Help in prototyping and testing new methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of data retrieval

• Assist in analyzing and evaluating model performance and results.

• Maintain clear documentation of processes, models, and data engineering solutions.

Who You Are

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or related disciplines.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, etc.

• Experience with SQL databases.

• Familiarity with AWS data services (e.g., Lambda, Redshift, S3, Glue).

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Experience and consolidated knowledge in working with and applying LLMs.

• Knowledge about prompt engineering (e.g. zero-shot, few-shot, etc.) techniques & best practices.
