Job Description

The candidate will have an option to join Chennai or Hyderabad office and would be required to come to office in a hybrid mode - the number of days the candidate is required to be in person in the office lies with the management and might change as required by the business.

There are multiple openings for analytics lead, who could be required to work in one or more of the following areas, including but not limited to, marketing analytics, sales analytics, patient access analytics, the requirements for which are mentioned below in the business functions section. Eligibility Criteria:

An ideal candidate should have:

Education:

  • UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization (Computer Science preferred)
  • Nice to have: Master’s Degree - Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Economics/Econometrics, Computer Science or related field
  • Any certifications on analytics or data science would be an added advantage

Experience and Skills:

  • Overall experience of 5-8 Years in the analytics / consulting space out of which 2-5 years of experience in delivering analytics projects, especially in the Pharma /Biotech / Healthcare domain
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic coupled with high motivation and a go-getter attitude
  • High attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset
  • Good knowledge of Excel, SQL and (Python, R or SAS)
  • Good to have working knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx, etc.
  • Experience in one or more of the below business functions

Business Functions:

  • Marketing Analytics:
    • Experience in marketing analytics such as patient journey, Customer Segmentation and targeting, sub national analysis of customer and patient spread, market and treatment landscaping, epidemiology
    • Expertise in working with a variety of secondary data including but not limited to Claims, affiliations, personal and non-personal promotions, Payer, etc.
    • Exposure to the therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, immunology, etc. is an added advantage
  • Sales and Field Force Analytics:
    • Experience in Sales analytics such as HCP and account level sales insights, forecasting, impact assessment/ ROI, sales force effectiveness, sub national analysis of sales
    • Expertise in working with a variety of secondary data including but not limited to sales, affiliations, personal and non-personal promotions, geographical data(zip-county-state-designated market area-region-country), etc.
    • Exposure to alignment, segmentation and targeting, response modelling, incentive compensation processes is preferable
  • Patient Access Analytics:
    • Analytics around Patient Access areas such as Coverage and Reimbursement, Copay assistance, Patient foundation processes
    • Process understanding of drug fulfillment journey of a patient including processes like enrolments, benefit investigation, prior authorization, specialty pharmacy triaging and fulfilment
    • Understanding of data compliance aspects while working with patient data

Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Analytics Lead you will:

  • Work closely with the business stakeholders from the commercial team to define the project objectives and scope
  • Work on Brand Performance tracking, Disease Market Overview, Patient Journeys(Treatment and Drug Fulfilment), Forecasting, Product launch support and assessment, Patient adherence, Physician/Account Targeting, Payer Mix, Marketing Impact and ROIs
  • Lead pharma data explorations, data deep dives and recommend data sources for analysis
  • Lead the team and stakeholder discussions, act as thought partner and provide them with high quality analytics solutions and recommendations
  • Develop presentations to communicate key insights, recommendations to the stakeholders
  • Understand the stakeholder needs, prioritize and manage the day to day tasks accordingly
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously depending on the requirements
  • Motivate, mentor and coach the junior members on the team and help them grow
  • Conduct training programs to develop subject matter expertise in the team
  • Be involved in the decision making and make significant contributions across key initiatives to help grow the GATE team
