We’re looking for highly motivated 1st year MBA students, looking to jumpstart their career at one of the world’s premiere media, entertainment, and tech companies.

All 2024 MBA Interns will be selected from the attendees of this year's in-person (Friday, January 12th, 2024) or virtual (Friday, January 19th, 2024) MBA Treks. WBD’s MBA Trek is an opportunity to hear from our recruiters, former interns, and executives on topics ranging from company culture and business updates to interview tips and what makes the award-winning WBD intern program best in class. During this immersive event, you will also have exclusive opportunities to network and speak with hiring managers for 2024 MBA internships at WBD.

Your New Role...

At the broadest level, our team is responsible for helping our Content and Merchandising organizations maximize the ROI of our investments -- whether that is in content that we choose to greenlight, campaigns we prioritize in-app, or otherwise. This team is focused on content in the run-up to launch on the platform (think 12 months out all the way to 12 months post) - What should we greenlight/renew? How do different content verticals perform? How does the content perform once it is on-platform?

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Support ongoing title launch analysis and recommendations

• Support with Greenlight decision memos for new content development or 3rd party deals

• Support with ad-hoc analysis around content efficiency, new KPIs, analysis of launch of features/packages/promotions

• Support ad-hoc business questions related to content performance on the platform

Qualifications & Experience...

• Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university MBA degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)

• Must be a 1st year MBA student

• Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)

• All 2024 MBA interns will be selected from the attendees of the in-person (held in Burbank, CA) or virtual MBA treks. All eligible applicants must attend 1 of the trek dates.

• Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.

• Problem-solving / data analysis skills

• Presentation skills -> Executive-level presentations

• Effective cross-functional communication skills (content teams, data science, marketing, product, merchandising, etc.)

• The duration of the program is 10-12 weeks depending on the student’s availability
• Program dates:

• Option #1: 6/3/2024- 8/16/2024

• Option #2: 6/10/2024- 8/23/2024

• Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.

• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.

• The recruiting process will take place from November through February. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $50 per hour USD for Global Corporate Strategy MBA internships, $45 per hour USD for all other departments.
