Job Description

Your New Role...

Works closely with Executive Director, Creative Advertising on internal design requests for Motion Graphics and Digital Assets including hands-on creation of animated end cards, AV title sequences, motion banners, motion assets for Social Media, animated keyart, animated GIFs, cinemagraphs primarily using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Supports Digital Creative Directors, AV Executive Director and Social Media team on all in-house requests related to Motion and Digital design assets.
  • Manages timelines for in-house projects. Plans and tracks deadlines to ensure on-time delivery of all creative materials. Digitizes and imports/exports various assets and deliverables across multiple media and archive platforms including but not limited to AdStream, Box, and NEST.
  • Works with Creative Directors on internal graphic design projects including comps, digital assets, resizing creative materials, updating mechanicals, templated ads, MAX assets, endcard design, keyart charts, style guides, and other print/digital assets as needed using Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator. Uploads final assets to various systems including NEST, Box and Adstream.
  • Attends weekly creative meetings and works closely with Creative Team and Digital Marketing Teams on development of creative materials including regular review of concepts, roughs, workload management, and timelines.
  • Interfaces with various members of creative, brand and digital marketing teams to confirm final assets, and any related approvals.

Qualifications and Experience...

Work Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of After Effects motion graphics and Photoshop. Red Giant and Boris FX experience a plus.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign and Illustrator.
  • 5 or more years hands-on motion graphics creative background with an entertainment company, a design studio, an advertising agency, or in a related industry
  • 5 or more years hands on graphic design work using Creative Suite with a strong eye for typography and visual design.
  • Successful hands-on production of motion graphics and digital assets for digital, online and broadcast. TV spot and trailer graphics, sizzle reels graphics and cards, animated GIFs, motion graphics, using Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency in After Effects and Photoshop. Adobe Premiere experience preferred.
  • Must have strong reel that illustrates a variety of motion graphic work including text and font design.
  • Portfolio which shows knowledge of Visual Design, Fonts and Typography
  • Strong interest, love and knowledge of Feature Films and Television.
  • Strong interest and understanding of new and emerging technology such as AR, VR, NFT, AI and how these integrate into video and digital advertising
  • Strong knowledge of putting together graphic and animation toolkits.
  • Experience collaboratively working with Editors and AV producers, Graphic Designers, Art Directors, etc.
  • 5 years of Entertainment Industry experience preferred.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

College graduate with with multi-media design degree, Motion Graphics/Graphic Design degree, or other related degree, or equivalent agency experience.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Extensive creative experience executing marketing objectives into Motion Graphics and Digital Assets to support campaign materials
  • Quality control and detail oriented a must.
  • Strong, confident and clear communication to internal and outside organizations.
  • Able to give effective feedback and prioritize workload.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer skills: Mac. Proficiency and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency -- After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Ability to work Premiere a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel & Teams.
  • Strong knowledge of various social media platforms.

Other Requirements

  • Must have ability to work in office minimum of 3 days per week, as well as effectively work from home (if necessary) with limited supervision and manage various remote technical requirements for offsite work.
  • Flexibility with regard to creative input and adjustments from various stakeholders
  • Ability to turn projects around quickly in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Must have strong writing and correspondence skills and ability to coordinate and collaborate with other departments.

Pay Range: $72,236.00 - $134,152.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
