Job Description

This position supports Cigna Pharmacy Economics Team by designing and performing economic analyses related to pharmacy channel optimization, strategizing and monitoring customer steerage campaigns to improve affordability and customer satisfaction. It partners closely with Cigna Pharmacy Product, Marketing, Pharmacy Finance and Pharmacy Pricing teams. It reports to an Actuarial Senior Manager.

Detailed Job Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Solution Team to develop, evaluate and monitor new retail and home delivery pharmacy network steerage initiatives and customer outreach campaigns.
• Develop economic value measurement and conduct customer disruption analyses for newly created network solutions.
• Proactively identify affordability and economic optimization opportunities by leveraging data visualization assets and advanced predictive analytics based on eligibility and drug utilization data associated with millions of Cigna Pharmacy customers.
• Provide quarterly business and financial projections for various network initiatives and analyze emerging experience against forecast to identify improvement iterations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics or related field.
• 4-5+ years of actuarial, data science, business analytics or related work experience.
• Associate of Society of Actuaries designation preferred but not required.
• Experience working in the healthcare or pharmacy space preferred but not required.
• Outstanding problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Experience with database and analytics applications (SAS, SQL, Python, R, and/or Tableau) are preferred.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 97,400 - 162,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
