Job Description

The candidate will lead the vision and strategy for our transformational Golden batch solutions,

be responsible for leading a successful digital product team to ensure implementation and optimization of smart factory technologies, including golden batch, automation, data science/ analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML), to drive operational efficiency and enhance the overall performance of our manufacturing operations.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director – Smart Factory Predictive Operations PM responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Team leadership: Manage and mentor 3+ dynamic product teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment focused on delivering cutting edge predictive operations solutions that focus on Golden batch and reduce batch loss for our manufacturing plant customers
  • Strategy: Develop and implement the vision and strategy of our predictive operations, connected worker, AI, GenAI and Golden batch solutions.
  • Product team collaboration: Partner with Solution engineering, validation and UX teams to ensure to enable a engine of highly skilled people deploy ground-breaking applications in a highly regulated environment.
  • Customer education: increase awareness & adoption of Connected worker, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and GenAI at and the value it brings to our manufacturing plants.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with our Global Technology & Engineering (GT&E) peers to create a revolutionary suite of golden batch / connected worker solutions.
  • Create and maintain a predictive system/platform for continuous monitoring of all PGS critical assets.
  • Deliver capabilities to enable data-driven decision making at all levels of manufacturing, embracing GenAI to be the Manufacturing Co-Pilot.
  • Identify high value opportunities for the use of AI & GenAi during, before or after the Manufacturing Process
  • Deliver the development and implementation of advanced analytics and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, predict process deviations, and optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Establish OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) to measure program performance and value realization across the Manufacturing Intelligence Portfolio
  • Ensure proper Systems Development Lifecycle Management (e.g. GMP Regulatory Compliance (GRC))
  • Release Planning and Impact Assessment
  • Vendor Support Escalation
  • Solution Roadmap & Governance
  • Disaster Recovery Planning & Testing
  • Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to leverage best practices and stay at the forefront of digital manufacturing advancements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in AI, statistics, data science, physics, computer science or engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of related work experience with 3-5 years of working in a Global Solution environment, involving deployment of complex, integrated enterprise systems for manufacturing.
  • 7 years of experience in Digital Transformation with 5+ years of relevant domain experience in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in automation, IoT, data analytics, AI, connected worker and ML in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in all stages of a program lifecycle from value analysis, business case development, delivery through value realization
  • Ability to work across multiple concurrent activities and successfully adapt to changing priorities as required.
  • Strong experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • A thorough understanding of system GMP requirements and demonstrable knowledge of computer system design and maintenance lifecycle in GMP environments.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Managing or coaching a team to analyze and solve technical issues
  • Familiarity with AWS technology stack
  • Advanced Degree: Master’s Degree or PhD
  • 5+ years’ experience in a role supporting Manufacturing Intelligence / Process Analytics working with complex algorithms
  • Product Manager Certification
  • PMI certification preferred but not required.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Ability to travel up to 25% and must be able to support weekend or night cutover and/or upgrade activities.

Work Location Assignment: Hybrid - must be able to work 2.5 days in office per week

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $161,600.00 to $261,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
