Job Description

The Enterprise Platforms & Security (EP&S) team delivers the following capabilities for Pfizer - Business application platforms supporting Pfizer’s enterprise application and critical business processes. Infrastructure allowing business traffic to travel where it needs to go, internally and externally, along with the appropriate access controls. EP&S secures Pfizer's most important information assets through world class controls and protections and enables Pfizer's business results by making security an enabler and not a roadblock to achieving business results.

The Manager, Data Integration Engineer plays a key role in the design, enablement, enhancement, and management of data integration and data quality in support of analytic solutions. The Data Integrations Engineer will be responsible to work with customer liaisons and Business Analysts to gather customer data and information requirements as a key enabler of data transformation solutions. You will be accountable for designing and implementing integration solutions to enable advanced, innovative, and scalable database services and data platforms for data engineering, AI, analytics, business intelligence & insights. You will collaborate with peers to develop and implement standards for Integration services

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with relevant teams to gathering customer data and information requirements as a key enabler of data transformation
• On-board new data feeds/conversions including data analysis, data mapping, testing and implementation
• Query data sources and databases to isolate data anomalies and provide recommendations for how those anomalies should be handled
• Participate in developing solutions by incorporating cloud native and 3rd party vendor products
• Design, write, test, and deploy production-grade code
• Coach members, share knowledge, and support the continuous development of our tooling within the broader team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in computer science, data science, or an engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience with data integration patterns and related challenges
• Hands on experience in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Golang
• Hands on experience with data lakes, ETL, and related technology such as Redshift, Glue, CloudTrail, Cloudwatch, Aurora, Lambda, Spark and other AWS services
• ETL and Java/Python/R/Scala skillsets.
• Practical knowledge of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and document (e.g., MongoDB) databases
• Must be familiar with Agile methodologies and able to work in an Agile manner
