Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Performs advanced statistical analyses and makes recommendation on complex issues based on guidance from PX Data Science team leads
• Demonstrates expertise in sophisticated advance analysis (e.g. factor analysis, structural equations, predictive modeling, organization network analysis) and applies analytical techniques to validly use data to draw inferences and conclusion from analyses (e.g. hypothesis testing).
• Serve as a subject matter expert in R and supports team members on R and other statistical software programming.
• Under the guidance of PX Data Science Team leads, translates business questions and hypotheses into structured analyses. Develop models and methodologies that will generate actionable insights for the business.
• Develop methodologies to measure the baseline and impact of HR initiatives and provides support in post hoc analysis and intervention methods like AB testing.
• Helps in programming models for Organizational Network Analysis (ONA) and defines measurement criteria for network analysis work using passive and active data collection.
• Uses a variety of established statistical methods to gather, analyze, and interpret research data and derive useful information for key business initiatives. Evaluates and develops key insights from data and makes meaningful recommendations to support the execution of evidence based decision making.
• Partners with PX Data Science team leads in the design and delivery of advance visualization techniques and improve the state of infographics across HR. Helps convert data into captivating, elegant visual representations to help our clients make better, data-driven decisions.
• Partners with PX Data Science team and PX client stakeholders in developing story telling capabilities within Pfizer PX which include explanation of complex math-based research to a non-technical audience.
• Plays a pivotal role in the design of Analytics workshop for internal PX stakeholders that will focus on research and data interpretation, visualization, data evaluation, and explanation of various statistical models as appropriate.
• Transfers knowledge and skills to PX community in analytical technique and designs processes for effective use of metrics and analytics to drive business results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mathematics, Statistics, Social Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Economics or other social science discipline with extensive quantitative coursework along with 5 years of experience or a MS/MA degree in fields listed above and a minimum of 3 years of applicable work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information.
• Strong applied mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills to interpret descriptive and inferential statistics are required.
• Demonstrated experience in R and Python is required
• Experience with Igraph, Gephi, Linux preferred
• Experience with Dataiku/DSS preferred
• Experience in advance visualization a must (Tableau, R Shiny preferred)
• Exceptional innovative and conceptual thinking skills to analyze complex problems and propose solution, often involving both technical and operational constraints.
