The expected annual salary range for this role is $88499.97 - $129799.96 a year.

What you’ll do:

We’re hiring a Scrum Master to join the Marketing & Commercial Operations organization’s (MCO) Business Analytics team. You’ll join a scrum team with the mission of empowering decision-making across the organization by developing self-service data analytics products while working closely with technical (IT, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams) and business stakeholders.

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for implementing the scrum framework, enabling the team to continually improve their processes, and ensuring the team is performing at its best.

In this role:

• Facilitates team scrum ceremonies events, including the daily stand-up, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, and sprint review
• Guides the team to produce quality increments with strong technical craftsmanship that meet the definition of Done
• Champions continuous improvement, seeks ways to help the team improve their efficiency
• Works with the team to foster a culture of technical craftsmanship and high quality
• Coaches the team in Scrum and Kanban concepts
• Builds partnerships with other Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners throughout the enterprise, advancing the state of practice
• Guides the team through the sprint planning process, supporting them in creating a plan, identifying dependencies, and mitigating risk
• Keeps the team focused on deliverables by working with the BI Development manager and key stakeholders to remove impediments 
• Supports the Product Owner in their responsibility of managing the backlog
• Builds partnerships with other Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners throughout the enterprise, advancing the state of practice using a continuous improvement mindset.
• Assists the team in forming working agreements and adhering to them
• Records meaningful metrics that the team finds useful and uses them to implement quantifiable improvement
• Owns and administers the DevOps tool (Jira) configuration, usage and reporting 

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Data Engineering, or Software Development
• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years working on teams practicing Agile and using Scrum
• Certified Scrum Master CSM or Professional Scrum Master PSM 

Skills:

• Proven track record of leading a team to succeed through inspiration and coaching
• Experience with the Agile Methodology and the Scrum Framework
• Experience with Business Intelligence and Analytics development at an enterprise scale
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and tools (JIRA is a plus) 
• Understands how to analyze team data to find opportunities for improvement and measure progress
• Is a creative problem solver that can remove impediments for the team
• Is innovative in its approach to continuously improving and build a culture
• Has a learning mindset, is curious, adaptable, and willing to teach others what they know
