Job Description

What you’ll do:

Designing robust Data Analytics solutions is a complex task involving integrating diverse data sources into a standardized and efficient data model. The design of such a complex structure requires an architectural mindset and firsthand experience. Be influencer on the Global Supply Chain Center of Excellence functions. Should have SCM business acumen. Ideal condidate should have Full Stack Development experience and should have designed Data Analytics and Visualization solutions leveraging Microsoft Tech Stack ( Azure, PowerApps, PoweBI etc).

Work with SCM Business Intelligence and Data Manager to develop a best-in-class Supply Chain Management Data Domain Solutions including, but not limited to:

• Act as data architect by designing data models leveraging enterprise technical architecture.
• Work in close collaboration with business and IT to balance needs vs standard design.
• Identify and integrate standard Data sources
• Identify additional requirements for SCM harmonization layer based on current and upcoming business analytics requests.
• Decide on deployment strategy of improved solutions
• Evaluate existing solutions for optimization opportunities
• Prioritize and direct Data Engineering team in optimization and deployment
• Establish and maintain standards for SCM data models and outputs (reports)
• Merge technical/architecture knowledge with Supply Chain functional knowledge to develop robust and sustainable solutions
• Function as gatekeeper for new sources of supply chain data, ensuring integration is consistent with master data management
• Coach deployment team on best practices in information security, database design, efficient querying
• Remain current with current and emerging technology related to assigned responsibilities.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in current or new Supply Chain functional processes
• Design Data ingestion strategy,
• Prepare Big data
• Conduct data preparation,
• Design ontology for loading data in Data warehouse,
• Develop BI semantic models,
• Establish standards for Enterprise Reports,
• Establish and Enforce Master Data Management,
• Strive for consistant User Experience,
• Make Performance Tuning part of design,
• Validate solutions for Information Security,
• Explore standard and efficient ERP integration connections,
• Understand and use APIs wherever appropriate,
• Keep Advanced Data Analytics design requirements in mind while developing solutions.
• Should be future ready - Large NLP models, Generative AI, Azure cloud service, Microsift Copilot, Fabric etc
• Should have strong understanding of Data Science, Data Engineering and Data Visualization concepts.

Qualifications:

Master of Science, PhD preferred.

15 of experience in Software Development, Design, architecture.

Skills:
