The Business Process Analytics, Advisor position will focus on translating business needs into analytics, interpretation of analytics into business applications, advanced technologies, and artificial intelligence solutions to deliver required results. Apply process improvement principles to develop and improve various cross functional business processes and implement digital automation (when applicable) to streamline, increase data accuracy, and achieve operational excellence and process efficiencies.

The position will identify, create and implement continuous improvement strategies serving their clients in Operational Services and across the enterprise. Develops analytical solutions for problems and models, discover insights and identify opportunities through use of statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques. 

In addition to advanced analytical skills, the individuals in this role will research and develop statistical learning models for data analysis, integrate and prepare large varied sets. They will use data and analytics to design new methods, approaches and processes to set and evaluate operational and performance measures for company-wide and Operational Services (OS) level key business strategies, initiatives, and decisions.

• Responsible for supporting the management, development and implementation of projects and initiatives that serve to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the OS client base.
• Develops ad hoc solutions using automation tools.
• Leads short- and medium-term projects.
• Updates and maintains dashboards, apps and automation solutions as scheduled and needed.
• Utilizes ERP and SAS data for data analysis and business insights.
• Uses strong written and oral communication skills; inclusive to developing and delivering presentations to all leadership levels. 

Qualifications

The Essentials

• Seven years or more experience analyzing complex data.
• Microsoft Power Apps: PowerBI, Flow PowerQuery, VBA.
• Experience with Databases and Coding.
• Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint), SharePoint.

The Preferred

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Analytics or other technical discipline.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, & Fieldglass.
• Experience using Python, SQL, R.
• Lean Six Sigma.
• Training and support for the solutions built.
• UI Path, PEGA.
• Machine Learning and AI.

You should know

• This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
