In this job, you'll work on the Performance and Resource Management team supporting Energy Efficiency (EE). The Operations & Analysis team supports EE projects/programs contributing to EE portfolio goals and is critical in tracking and processing rebates/incentives for customers and contractors. The Operations and Analysis Specialist provides analytical, operational, and administrative support for EE Programs and Advisors across multiple sectors, including, Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural, HVAC, and Public sectors.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!

  • Performing analysis/review/processing of program-related invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness while ensuring adherence to the service level agreement (SLA).
  • General understanding of Contracts, Contract Work Assignments (CWAs), and Program Agreements, including Change Orders, and applying knowledge to ensure invoice disbursements adhere to agreements and purchase orders. Also involves the administration of change orders, CWA, and co-funding agreements while ensuring proper internal controls.
  • Creating and analyzing reports and drawing conclusions on data and information through independent research and analysis to recognize and resolve issues.
  • Timely responding to data/audit requests, including internal and external audits, to support portfolio operations and mitigate audit findings and discrepancies.
  • Tracking, reporting, and data analysis of project savings towards program/portfolio goals including providing ongoing feedback to program advisors to promote strategic decision-making utilizing Microsoft Software tools (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, MS PowerBI, etc.) and other EE software tools including the Cost Effectiveness Tool – CET.
  • Troubleshooting project-level information to determine and ensure adherence to program and procedures and expedite the timely processing of rebates and incentives for customers, including financial checklists.
  • Ad hoc tasks and assignments, including support activities for Program Management, Demand Side Management (DSM) Engineering, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Inspections, Marketing, Regulatory Compliance, Kaizens, and other ongoing continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

The essentials

  • Three or more years of analytical and project support experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook).

The preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Economics, Administration, Information Technology, Data Science or related field.
  • Two or more years’ experience in internal controls and/or contract management.
  • Working knowledge of Investor-Owned Utility-led Energy Efficiency programs, policies, and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Cloud Suite applications (SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerBI, etc.).
  • Familiar with Contract Management concepts and principles and/or Internal Controls supporting DSM Contracts and DSM compliance activities, including audits and data requests.
  • Strong oral/written communication skills, including presentation skills to effectively communicate and interact with personnel at all levels.
