Job Description

The Data Scientist – Machine Learning will develop, evaluate and modify algorithms and algorithm ensembles to performance against various network data sources and network discovery and profiling use cases.

This 2024 Summer Internship for Graduate (Master’s) student who is expected to graduate between December 2024 – May 2025

Essential Functions:

Some responsibilities of Technology internship role may include but are not limited to:

• Assists Business Analysts in documenting current business procedures and processes
• Assists in the creation of documentation and definitions for technical systems, processes, business rules and data
• Researching new technologies and components
• Ensures Application information is correct and updated as required
• Deduces how to gain efficiencies in the project management function through the use of AI tools and techniques
• Evaluates the appropriateness of a projects management data for applying machine learning capabilities to automate the EPMO governance activities.
• Assesses the impact of AI capabilities available in the project management tool on the future of EPMO governance and project managements activities.
• Develops a road map for the EPMO organization to optimize manual processes through the use of artificial intelligence.
• Develop reporting related to the various activities of the project management framework
• Support the various activities of the project management methodology (e.g gates and artifacts reviews)

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Masters program at a University or College
• Preferably majoring in Information Systems, MIS, Engineering, Math, Business, or related field
• Preferably familiar with Microsoft tools (PowerBi, Power App and IAbuilder)
• Expected graduation date between December 2024 – May 2025
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Strong analytics and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and within teams
• Eager to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Availability for entire internship program
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Working Conditions:

• Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs
• Travel to multiple facilities may be required
• May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds
• May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time
• May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard
