Mission and responsibilities:

As a Data Project Manager you will be Responsible for the coordination and adequate implementation of ML Engines, and the interaction with Business Owners another related areas.

The main tasks of this position will be the following:

• Coordinate Business units needs with DS developments: handle backlog of ML Models and developments for businness users.
• Coordinate with DS Managers to establish priorities for model developments.
• Coordinate with DS Developers + Model Auditors for Model Monitoring KPIs definintion and supervision.
• Drive the relationship with external data providers.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different areas of the organization and quickly gain exposure to business development, account management, and product management.
• Resolving blockers to feature execution by facilitating resource prioritization or identifying mitigation options
• Managing, tracking and escalating risks and issues to the plan
• Drive continuous improvement through the review of delivery metrics and reports with the squad lead to facilitate iterative and data-driven optimization of performance and planning
• Build strong relationships with manager level clients and internal stakeholders to guide impactful decisions.

To be successful in the role you must have

• +5 years of experience in a similar role
• +4 years of experience working on a team with experience understanding risk/ portfolio construction and analytics; predictive modelling, and Machine Learning applications. 
• Strong programming skills for data analytics
• Strong python skills – knowledge of data management.
• Experience with SQL for managing and accessing data
• Familiarity with software development tools such as GitHub
• Excellent communication/ presentation skills, confidence, and ability to influence, coach, educate fundamental PMs
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Interest in learning from other Data Science experts, using feedback to improve analysis and understanding of strategies.
• Attention to detail and passion/ grit for getting things done, digging into problems, and helping develop solutions
• Sense of ownership and entrepreneurialism to grow business
• Knowledge of microservices development paradigms and API economy approaches represents a plus. Preferred knowledge about technologies for containering and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge and/or experience of project management, PMI Certification is a plus
• Knowledge of the Agile framework
