Job Description

• Conduct Proof-of-Concept (POC) and prototyping to explore and validate the flexibility of innovated ideas.
• Lead the development and deployment of scalable solutions for AI/ML projects
• Drive adoption of best practices and introduce high standards of coding quality to the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend solutions for AI/ML projects
• Build and maintain efficient, high-performance Python code
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in AI/ML technologies
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Doctor, Masters, or Bachelors degree in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Software Engineering or related areas.
• Expertise in one or more of NLP, Multimodal Representation Learning, ChatGPT / LLM, tableau data analyst.
• At least 3 years of experience in Python development, Excellent programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with common ML frameworks like Pytorch, and basic libraries like sklearn, pandas, etc.
• Research experience in document understanding / document intelligence fields is a big plus. E.g. Visual rich document classification, information extraction, document layout analysis, question answering, generative AI, LLM etc.
• LLM (large language model) prompt engineer experience
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willing to work with overseas teams.

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Ansible
• Understanding of MLOps or machine learning Model Lifecycle Management concepts
