THE ROLE: 

AMD is looking for an IT AI Technical Lead, this role is responsible for overseeing the implementation, integration, and management of Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives within the company’s HR functions. The main goal of the IT AI Manager is to ensure that AI-driven solutions align with the organization's overall HR strategy and enhance employee experience.

THE PERSON: 

Ideal candidate will enhance HR processes and workflows through the effective use of AI technology. This role requires a strong understanding of how AI can be applied to optimize HR these processes, enhance the employee experience, and drive strategic decision-making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop and implement the HR AI strategy, aligning it with overall HR and business objectives and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
• Design, build, and deploy AI models that improve HR processes, such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
• Oversee HR AI projects from end-to-end, including problem definition, data collection and preprocessing, model selection and training, and deployment and monitoring.
• Lead the integration of AI systems with existing HR technologies, including HRIS, ATS, and other platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange and process automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and other business functions, to ensure HR AI technologies are effectively leveraged and embedded across the organization.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in HR AI and identify new opportunities for the organization to harness the power of these technologies.
• Ensure the responsible use of AI within HR, adhering to regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and considering the impact of AI-driven decisions on employees and candidates.
• Monitor and manage the performance of HR AI models, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of algorithms and techniques.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external AI partners, vendors, and research institutions to strengthen the company's position in the HR AI landscape.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• 5+ years of proven track record of implementing AI solutions to optimize HR business processes and enhance employee experiences.
• Experience with implementing AI solutions in finance, legal and other business processes a plus.
• Proven experience in AI technology, machine learning, natural language processing, and other related disciplines.
• Experience in developing and implementing AI-driven applications, tools, and solutions in a business environment including Chatbots.
• A proactive and innovative mindset, with a commitment to staying current on emerging HR AI trends and technologies

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on AI.

Location: Austin, Texas

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
