Samsung Ads, the advertising monetization arm of Samsung Electronics, leverages proprietary Samsung TV / mobile usage data and insights to promote relevant brands and content experiences for consumers. We partner with brands, agencies and content owners to deliver unique advertising opportunities on native placements within our Smart TV platform and programmatically with a cross-device solution.

The Samsung Ad platform delivers high-quality audience targeting powered by three key components: first-party audience data at scale, world-class data science, and brand-safe, cross-device ad inventory.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a confident individual to join the Data Management product team to lead multiple data activation efforts across different Samsung and 3rd party datasets to create business value for our clients. You will be at the crux of the product, working with the differentiator of our product – Data. This is a high-visibility role with growth potential and high impact. Role and Responsibilities

  • Work with customers and sales to identify new opportunities that leverage Samsung TV and mobile datasets, 3rd party datasets for audience targeting, and reporting + insights across Samsung Ads platform
  • Work closely with various stakeholders like Product Marketing, User Experience teams, Analytics, and external partners to identify new opportunities to enrich the Samsung Ads Audience targeting products
  • Create clear and detailed product requirements and coordinate execution of the data activation initiatives with Samsung Ads product and engineering with maximum efficiency
  • Communicate the strategy, plans and progress to stakeholders in different geographies and business units and identify new opportunities for extending products and features
  • Be the subject-matter expert for Samsung TV data within and across product areas, and the go-to for related strategy, technical and business aspects
  • Set standards based on analyzing data sets and define best practices for data quality
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure on-time, quality delivery

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4+ years in total experience in technology with at least 2+ years in product management or program management
  • Experience working in an advertising technology company (working on DSPs, DMPs) is highly preferred
  • Experience working with 3rd party data partners across the Adtech ecosystem
  • Proficiency in basic data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts (big data), evaluate tradeoffs and prioritize
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead multiple cross-functional teams (other product managers, engineers, external partners) across geographies and business units to ship new products and features
  • Experience building product roadmap strategy and driving product execution
  • Experience with Agile product development
