Job Description

As Director of Product Management, you will lead the development of machine learning technologies enabling performance-based advertising for Samsung’s customers.
You will partner with internal teams to ensure continuous innovation in our capabilities to deliver performance outcomes for advertisers, such as tune-ins, purchases and application installs.
You will manage a team of product managers to establish the vision of Platform Intelligence domain, define requirements, develop new products and features, and manage the timely execution of our product roadmap.
The successful candidate must have deep knowledge of machine learning applied to advertising, strong business judgment, and demonstrated experience leading through influence on initiatives that involve multiple cross-functional teams.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Drive strategy for Samsung Ads performance optimization and machine learning
• Manage a team of product managers to turn the vision into roadmaps, projects and product features
• Become a trusted expert in Samsung Ads organization on where and how machine learning can create value, leveraging proven strategies you know first-hand
• Prioritize according to fastest value to the business
• Work closely with engineering to ensure on-time delivery with high quality
• Communicate the strategy, plans and progress to stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

Experience

• 10+ years in product management with 5+ years of experience in performance advertising
• Expert understanding of machine learning in advertising
• Deep knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem, including ad exchanges, DSPs, SSPs
• Track record of delivering successful and significant products
• Experience with Agile product development
• Passion for building disruptive products from ground up, in fast-pace, cross-functional environment
• BS in computer science or engineering
