Job Description

Work on expanding Bixby voice technology and features to include advanced research and projects in Wake work detection, Automatic Speech Recognition, that includes Acoustic and Language Modeling, translation, and personalization. Work on projects including voice recognition, language recognition, and speech enhancement. Apply knowledge of Deep/Machine Learning and Digital Signal Processing. Act as a technical leader in the field of Machine Learning and Signal Processing. Involved in production issue discussions and feature implementation discussions. Invent new software design architectures and implement those new architectures. Read research publications and publish research papers and patents. 10% domestic and international travel required.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field and one (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related machine learning role.
• Requires one (1) years of experience in the following:
• Automatic speech recognition (ASR) for on-device deployment;
• Creating test audios for modeling and evaluation;
• Test predication;
• Acoustic and language modeling;
• Deep/machine learning and digital signal processing;
• Tensorflow and PyTorch Machine Learning platforms;

 Researching text to text and speech to text translation tasks from one language to another.

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.

Base Pay Range

$208,000—$228,000 USD

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
