Job Description

In this position, the incumbent will:

• Investigate new approaches and signal processing algorithms for Wi-Fi/mm Wave/UWB sensing (including active/passive radar) and/or positioning based on IEEE 802 next generation wireless system
• Develop necessary simulators for IEEE 802 wireless systems
• Develop prototypes of potential solutions
• Perform system performance analysis and problem diagnosis
• Involve in the development of related IPR(s)

Skills/Experience

• Sound technical background in signal processing, wireless communication systems and algorithms, and measurable familiarity with IEEE 802.11 standards or 3GPP LTE/NR standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively represent the derived results and technical concepts developed in the course of the work.
• Ability to work within Samsung in cross-functional, cross-divisional teams.
• Hands-on MATLAB, C++, Python coding skills.
• PhD student preferable

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
