Job Description

DataRobot's AI Success Manager manages existing customers' AI portfolios, guides customers to solutions to their various challenges, and strongly supports the implementation of strategic AI promotion. You will be responsible for successfully completing a number of projects to help customers create business value with DataRobot's AI solutions, expanding the number of DataRobot users, and driving continued use of the DataRobot platform. This role requires the ability to build strong relationships with company executives, stakeholders, and users, as well as tenacity and a passion for customer success.

Position:

  • Build relationships as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Effectively introduce DataRobot's platform, specs, and benefits to new and existing stakeholders (including basic product demos).
  • Direct communication with customers, usage statistics, support tickets, various other metrics and feedback, and understanding the latest status of customers.
  • With support from the technical support and data science teams, you will create a success plan that will help customers utilize the product, help them solve problems, increase business value, and further expand usage.
  • Execute a comprehensive engagement and communications strategy, including quarterly business reviews.
  • Acts as a point of contact for managing and triaging inquiries and issues from clients.
  • Collaborate across product management, engineering, data science, and other teams to ensure customer insights are fed back into the organization.
  • Implementing activities to enable AI success skills by generously contributing our own knowledge so that more customers can utilize and succeed with our products.
  • In addition to acquiring AI success support skills and supporting customers and partners, we will also develop new AI success support that will lead to solutions to customer problems.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a business consultant or success manager.
  • Experience working with SaaS/software or data analysis related products is a plus.
  • Fluent Japanese communication skills (listening, writing, oral, presentation, etc.). Able to accurately understand and communicate with engineers and business people.
  • Ability to perform tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced, and hard-working work environment.
  • He has a passion for working with cutting-edge technology and a strong desire to deeply understand DataRobot's advantages, use cases, and technical capabilities.
  • Ability to meet both revenue and renewal goals while building strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks within diverse responsibilities.
  • Ability to take a data-driven approach, understand systems, processes, and create analytical workflows.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly depending on customer needs.
  • Business level English proficiency

DataRobot is looking for an AI Success Manager to manage a portfolio of existing customers in order to drive high levels of customer satisfaction, successful product use, and customer retention. In this role, the AI Success Manager will develop strong relationships with key executives, users, and other stakeholders. The successful AI Success Manager will be passionate about customer success and will focus on developing a loyal, referenceable portfolio of clients that continually expand their use of the DataRobot Automated Machine Learning platform.

What does it take?

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer key partners and executive sponsors.
  • Effectively present the DataRobot platform, capabilities, and benefits to new and existing partners within a customer account (including basic product demonstration).
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of customer status through direct dialog, usage statistics, support tickets, and other metrics and feedback channels.
  • Prepare and maintain, with the aid of the technical support and data science teams, a success plan for each client that encourages adoption, resolves issues, drives business value, and expands usage.
  • Implement a comprehensive engagement and communications strategy that includes quarterly business reviews.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to manage and triage client inquiries and issues.
  • Work across product management, engineering, data science, and other teams to ensure customer insights are fed back into the organization.

Is this You?

  • 3-5 years of a professional business consultant or success manager experience in a relatable field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a SaaS/Software company and complex product is preferred.
  • Strong Japanese communication skills (listening, written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to effectively understand and engage technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to execute and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced, hard-working environment.
  • Passion for working with groundbreaking technologies and a desire to deeply understand DataRobot’s benefits, use cases, and technical capabilities.
  • Proven track record to exceed revenue and renewal targets while also building strong customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks across a varied set of responsibilities.
  • Data-driven approach and ability to use systems, follow processes and incorporate analytics into the workflow.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
  • Willing to travel periodically based on customer and business needs.
  • Good English skills are required.
