DataRobot is looking for an experienced Sr. Product Marketing Manager to focus on our AI Operations and Observability capabilities. You will be an expert on the needs and wants of AI Leaders (CDO, CDSO, CIOs), ML Engineers, and Heads of Infrastructure and IT. You will take all of your experience and know how to create compelling messaging, positioning, content, and GTM strategies that will drive awareness with that audience to drive revenue with our AI Operations and Observability product. 

As part of this, you will be responsible for creating the positioning, messaging, launches, and writing all of the key materials needed to effectively create and convert demand for our AI Operations and Observability product. You will work hand in hand with the product team to synthesize our Operations and Observability AI functionality into strong messaging and marketing programs. You will work with Demand Gen to put comprehensive program strategies together to help showcase our platform. You will also work hand in hand with sales enablement and will be responsible for creating enablement materials, messaging, and pitch decks, and helping them understand how we’re different and how we work well with hyper scalers as well as traditional IT observability platforms. You will be responsible for demoing and creating demo scripts as well as creating a variety of marketing materials, and sales enablement materials to support these activities will be core to the role.

You will be responsible for creating the core product messaging, positioning, and content for digital programs, field marketing, sales engagements, and executive events. Must be excellent at understanding our technology as well as traditional observability technology platforms and have a firm ability to translate all of that into unique joint messaging.

This is a full-stack role meaning we are looking for someone who knows how and likes to, create the strategy, build the materials needed to execute the strategy, and be responsible for measuring and iterating on the strategy.

Must have a strong portfolio of writing and creating presentations, messaging, web copy, videos, ebooks, articles, blogs, as well as other customer-facing and sales-facing materials. You will work with PM as well as SMEs to build sales tools, enablement, and training e.g. sales plays, sales presentations, battle cards, and prospecting templates.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the data and analytics space, or in the traditional IT observability space.
  • You are familiar with the AI observability space and or traditional IT Observability space.
  • You understand the technology of, or have worked at companies, like DataDog, Splunk, NewRelic, or SumoLogic.
  • You love creating strong messaging and stories. You have an art for making complex technology into something simple and value-oriented.
  • You know exactly how to speak to data and AI leaders, ML Engineers, or Heads of IT with the words you choose.
  • High level of comfort in a fast-moving startup-like environment, must be able to drive forward and create content and GTM strategies with little guidance and without writers or contract vendor support.
  • You know how to build strong relationships with product, sales, and demand gen teams and can work in a very cross-functional team internally and externally.
  • Portfolio of impactful marketing content and sales enablement materials
  • Experience working with product management and launch motions.
  • Research customer and market trends and our tech to help inform content development and enablement.
