A DataRobot Technical Field Lead (TFL) possesses the technical expertise to effectively communicate the product's features and benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences. They have a firm understanding of the technical buyer and of the technical product functionality of our platform. They know how to take this knowledge and translate it into meaningful technical content that will resonate with a highly technical audience.They know how to build solutions and PoCs and will support prospects and AAiEs and sales teams. They understand how to effectively conduct technical market research, develop compelling technical content, create technical collateral, work with enablement to enable the sales team, and contribute to product launches, ensuring the products are positioned effectively, work as intended, and meet customer needs in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration with Product Marketing: Tight partnership with the product marketing team to align technical messaging with marketing strategies and product positioning.

Technical Speaking: Delivering presentations, demonstrations, webinars and workshops at conferences, industry events, partner sites and customer meet-ups to showcase the technology's capabilities and benefits.

Demo Creation: Creating compelling technical demonstrations and prototypes to illustrate how the product works in real-world scenarios.

Technical Asset Creation: Authoring technical assets such as white papers, blogs, videos and community posts that explain the technology's features, use cases, and advantages.

Market Engagement: Interacting with customers, partners, and prospects to gather feedback, address technical questions, and build relationships.

Prospect Education and Training: Conducting workshops, Hands-on-Labs sessions, and webinars to educate customers, and prospects on the product's technical aspects.

Product Feedback: Gather feedback from customers and prospects and relay it to the product development and engineering teams.

Technical Market Research: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide input on product development and marketing strategies.

PoC: Support PoCs and solution building as needed with sales and AAiEs and take these learnings and bring them back to product development and product marketing for better development and positioning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years delivering value from data science projects
  • 2+ years as a DataRobot customer facing data scientist
  • Familiarity with the AI and Machine Learning industry, including market trends, technology integrations and competitive landscape
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating compelling content and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Ability to create meaningful learning experiences for prospects.
  • Ability to create materials that resonate with technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze market data and customer insights specific to AI and Machine Learning.
  • Collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
