The Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for the creation of next generation business process and accelerated adoption of technology across the company. The Digital Transformation, Senior Manager, Finance is a unique opportunity to transform a market leading semiconductor company to scale for past and future growth at an unprecedented time in our industry. 

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Transform the way Lam uses digital tools and systems to better enable our operations, giving our employees better tools and data for maximum efficiency
  • Working as a partner to lead financial transformation projects and collaborating with functional/cross functional teams, business teams and external suppliers/vendors as needed
  • Driving business change with departmental leaders through employees, enhanced process, and systems
  • Cultural change agent in the company to drive transformation and continuous improvement
  • Re imagine processes to streamline and drive efficiencies
  • Develop digital tools to enable streamlined process and connectivity
  • Enable new business models to drive new revenue streams
  • Increase customer value through better outcomes
  • Storyteller with an ability to drive organizational change management
  • Consistently shows exponential thinking and incremental execution
  • Influences and drives change by driving partnerships and alignment across the orgs

  • Knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field. MBA or master’s preferred but not required.
  • 8+ years experience in consulting, knowledge of financial processes, systems and tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in process digitalization and digital transformation in fast growth companies
  • Experience in market analytics for new tools and process improvements for complex, high growth companies
  • Experience designing finance, accounting, planning, forecasting, or reporting solutions for international companies
  • Experience optimizing finance and accounting processes like record to report, order to cash
  • Ability to define and shape a company’s financial, management or regulatory reporting strategy
  • Ability to design financial operating model
    • Finance processes improvement
    • Shared services and global business services design and implementation
    • Outsourcing
    • Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
    • Finance systems (e.g., SAP), robotics, and intelligent automation
    • Financial close, consolidation and reporting
    • Cost management and profitability analysis
    • Order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life
  • Understanding of cross functional business processes and connectivity
  • Experience in consulting firm
  • Experience in high growth, international complex companies
  • AI-Machine Learning concepts and experience with ML technology
  • Experience with SAP preferred or other ERP

 Salary and Benefits

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $119,000.00 - $255,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
