Job Description

Working within the Lab Operations organization will have as main duties the support of the daily lab tools operations.

• Troubleshooting and regular maintenance of the lab equipment
• Mechanical and electrical start-up of new lab tools 
• Support the process engineers in executing the customer demonstrations
• Support the product development by conducting design validation tests and delivering improvement proposals
• Documents the tools configuration and reports the tests results
• Support lab facility work
• Support lab on-call duty team (Bereitschaftsdienste) 
• Act as liaison for cross functional projects across organizations
• Ability to work independently, high degree of flexibility and capable to work in a cross functional environment 

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical education (eg. LAP, HTL or FBS-Degree) in mechatronics, electrotechnics or mechanics
• Excellent electronic skills 
• Good understanding of electrics and wiring schematics
• Familiar with MS-Windows and MS-Office products
• Good English oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience in the semiconductor manufacturing and/or at a semiconductor equipment suppliers would be an asset
• Experience in the handling of hazardous chemicals and gases
• Experience with pneumatic systems and robotics

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industryin occupation group D or E, depending on the education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
