The Office of Digital Transformation at Lam Research is responsible for the creation of next generation business process and accelerated adoption of technology across the company. The role of Manager, Digital Transformation, Quality is a unique opportunity to transform a market leading semiconductor company to scale for past and future growth at an unprecedented time in our industry.

Other Job Responsibilities

  • Lead as a quality champion and thought leader in the quality workstream to implement benchmark processes that will deliver on the goals for transformation project.
  • Work cross functionally across the project workstreams and business teams to engage stakeholders and develop roadmap of capabilities to enable the transformation.
  • Drive quality first/no fault forward mindset in all aspects of business processes from New Product Introduction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Services.
  • Support identification and implementation of process measures and KPIs within processes.
  • Understand the data flows and connectivity across the company and create the right processes and systems to enable insight led decision making.
  • Support the design of digital thread across product lifecycle that will enable closed loop feedback to prevent and address defects at source.
  • Support design and implement an integrated end to end quality management system.
  • Design the future state process, support the development of future state system landscape and architecture.
  • Manage the planning and implementation of the selected platform and processes with the help of consultants, project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Cultural change agent in the company to drive transformation and continuous improvement.
  • Re imagine processes to streamline and drive efficiencies.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • Expertise in Quality with understanding of at least 2 or more business functions including Environmental, Health & Safety, Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Field Service, or Customer Service.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in operations consulting, strong knowledge of operational processes, systems and tools, and improvement initiatives including experience in process digitalization and digital transformation in leading/fast growth companies.
  • Experience in market analytics for new tools and process improvements for complex, high growth companies
  • Storyteller with an ability to drive organizational change management
  • Consistently shows exponential thinking and incremental execution
  • Understanding of best practices in the industry and application to real life
  • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles.
  • Deep understanding of cross functional business processes and connectivity
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and has an eye to the art of the possible
  • Influences and drives change by driving partnerships and alignment across the orgs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting firm
  • Experience in high growth, complex companies
  • AI-Machine Learning concepts and experience with ML technology
  • Experience with SAP preferred or other ERP

Location

Fremont, California. 

Please note, this is a hybrid role and will be expected to be in the office 1-2 days a week.

 Salary and Benefits

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $101,000.00 - $220,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
