• Program robotic and computer vision system
• Work collaboratively with a team to design, build, test and troubleshoot robotics systems.
• We will also need to create an infrastructure to manage and analyze the data generated by a growing number of robots and vision systems.
• Train other engineers
• Working with outside vendors/integrators may be needed
• Work onsite in the lab most of the time
• Willing to travel several times per year

Job Responsibilities

We are growing our robotics team and are looking to hire an engineer to program cobots and computer vision systems. They will need to work well in a cross-functional team that develops and tests robotic systems and end effectors.

The candidate should have a master’s in robotics or similar. Background in robotics is preferred. Background in computer vision and machine/deep learning will also be extremely beneficial. In addition, 5-10 years of experience would be very good.

The new-hire will need to develop a working technical understanding of Lam etch and dep chamber hardware and processes. This knowledge will be used to work closely with engineering teams to design, create and test robotics systems. The new hire will need to develop a strong holistic technical understanding of the robotics product that goes beyond just the software.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS in robotics or similar.
• Background in robotics and computer vision. 
• 5 -10 years of work experience (that includes working with outside integrators/vendors).

Preferred Qualifications

• MS degree in the following fields (but not limited to)- Materials Science & Eng, Ceramics Eng, Chemical Eng, and Chemistry
• 5+ years applicable experience preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Machine/deep learning background will be very beneficial

 Salary and Benefits

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $95,000.00 - $207,000.00

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
