Job Description

Summary of duties: Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to incorporate research, data, and analytic solutions into workflows and decisions based on their needs. Prototype tactical solutions and partner with technology departments to evolve tactical solutions into scalable products that can be offered commercially. Design, implement and support new analytical capabilities with partner teams to address new requirements and enable new opportunities. Apply strong project management skills to all product responsibilities: set agenda, drive tone, provide direction to individual team members, coordinate execution, and communicate out to partners. Serve as an ambassador for our solutions externally with clients and participate in business development activities. Build inclusive teams across the community of internal groups and influence key partners and project sponsors to achieve greater consensus. Respond to inquiries and enhancement requests from clients and serve as the subject matter expert in internal and external client discussions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Applied Statistics and Decision Making, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Consultant – Private Market, Data Scientist, or a related role.

Two (2) years of experience with: performing analysis within the financial services industry to generate actionable insights and assist portfolio managers in making investment decisions; utilizing critical thinking skills and technology to solve gaps in analytical offerings for Private Credit at scale; working with Private Market Investment Systems; working within the Private Markets including Client Reporting, Portfolio Operations, or Risk Manager; and working in product and project management, structuring multiple communication streams, and managing workflows.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $135,500 – $152,500. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
