The Leidos Public Health Operation is seeking a Product Manager, Contingent upon contract award, to support a Modernization effort for the CDC.

Role is expected to be fully remote

Must currently reside in the United States for the last three consecutive years

Duties:

Defines the product vision and strategy. Works closely with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to understand needs and trends. Creates and maintains the product roadmap. Prioritizes features, identifies dependencies, and ensures that the product roadmap aligns with the overall product strategy. Works closely with the Product Owner to define user stories, prioritize features, and ensure that the development team understands and delivers on the product vision and requirements. Ensures that the product is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manages the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond. Monitors product performance, collects feedback, and use this information to inform future product development.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 12 years of progressive related experience

  • Passion to create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Executed product discovery techniques such as customer interviews, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Experience driving and executing on Product strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience working with effective iterative software delivery in large, complex projects and integrated product teams in a Federal Government space.
  • High level of comfort taking business objectives and key results through product discovery and design.
  • Experience with wireframing, prototyping, documenting personas, constructing journey maps, constructing story maps.
  • Hands-on product and design experience managing large-scale products with a focus on designing data science and analytic experiences that solve real-world problems.
  • Experience collaborating with customers to define and prioritize goals, backlogs and success metrics at the epic, portfolio, product, feature, and sprint levels.
  • Experience negotiating with customer SMEs, product owners, scrum masters, and release train engineers on delivery of features and target release timeframes.
  • Experience with Azure Boards, Jira, or Agility (VersionOne) to track Agile project workloads and measure progress
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience implementing product practices at an enterprise level.
  • Experience defining and using metrics to measure product success and value to customers or users.
  • Experience with communicating and educating teams on the product design process.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical / critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to describe and discuss data-driven, value-seeking Product Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HCD and UX designs for exceptional user experiences for large-scale products.
  • Experience working with product design tools such as Axure, Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch.
  • Product Management Certifications:
    • AIPMM Certified Professional in Product Management (CPM)
    • Pragmatic Marketing
  • Familiar with Scrum and/or SAFe Agile development methodology
  • Experience with CDC/Public Health
  • Knowledge of NIH EPLC and Stage Gate reviews

Requires ability to obtain Public Trust level 5 clearance

Pay Range: $105,300.00 - $190,350.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
