Job Description

As a Senior Applied Scientist in the Berlin based Size and Fit Org., you will develop algorithms designed to provide Zalando fashion retail customers with the information they need to make choices that reflect their unique size and fit preferences.

• Bring in your experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithmic based solutions and prototypes to help customers make sense out of confusing sizing systems

WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF…

• Ph.D or M.Sc. with equivalent experience in Machine Learning / Data Science / DL and solid understanding of best practices in feature extraction, dimensionality reduction, model validation, and classification
• 3+ years work experience in industry or academia
• Programming languages: Python, and its libraries such as pandas, numpy, scipy
• Hands on experience with Docker, Git, AWS EC2, S3, ML/DL frameworks such as Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe/Caffe2.0
• Hands on experience with Postgresql, or other RDBMS
• Attention to code quality by writing high-performance reusable code including unit tests
