Location – Onsite (Westlake, TX)

Job Description:

As a Business-Facing Data Scientist specializing in Market Mix Modelling, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting data to uncover critical insights that impact the client business's growth and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management to provide actionable recommendations based on your analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Mix Modelling: Develop and execute comprehensive market mix models to assess the impact of various marketing and sales strategies on business performance.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets, extracting meaningful insights and trends to support strategic decision-making.
  • Business Insights: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their specific needs and provide data-driven insights to support their decision-making processes.
  • Model Building: Create, validate, and optimize predictive models to improve marketing effectiveness, sales forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and provide real-time insights to guide tactical adjustments.
  • Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product to drive data-centric decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in Market Mix Modelling.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, SAS).

  • Data Engineering skills in GCP in BigQuery

  • Strong MS excel skills

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience working in a business-facing role is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.”
