Title: Senior ML Engineer

About the Team

You will be joining a highly talented AI research team organization, working with experts in the AI space. AI research team partners with leading academic institutions and product leads to answer some of the fundamental research questions in AI with huge industry impact. The team also supports also support other teams in evaluating/building AI products, where the team help provide applied transitional AI research to answer important yet fundamental business questions to support Wipro’s AI vision.

Core Responsibilities

• R&D and prototyping of new AI based technologies. You will be interact with experts in these areas on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with academia and industry AI research partners on areas of research.
• Work with the other teams to deploy and scale models in containers/flask and ensure it works smoothly in the workflow pipeline
• Ability to create an end-to-end ML workflow lifecycle 

Expected Candidature:

• You have a Master/PhD degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering
• You should be able take tough problems in the research domain and shape them towards enterprise applicability.
• Significant hands on experience working with AI and ML frameworks such TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc. as well as Big Data Technologies such as Spark, streaming technologies and applying large scale Machine Learning techniques within these technologies.
• Ability to use Python, Scala, Java, C or C++ to build models and manipulate data (debug, change out code) for purposes of building AI/ML based systems
•  Good understanding of Natural language processing.
• Should be aware of recent technologies in AI/ML including Graphical Neural Networks, Transformers , etc 

• Should have good understanding of finite automata/state machines , compiler design, Oops concepts
• Your written communication is clear, and you have the ability to distill sophisticated ideas into accurate and easily understandable takeaways will be keys to your success.

Helpful Experience:

• Should have good understanding of finite automata/state machines, compiler design, Oops concepts
• Solid understanding of the following technologies:
• AWS data services
• Snowflake
• Matillion or other ETL/ELT tools
• Tableau
• Hadoop
• Significant experience with modern big data technologies such as Spark, Cassandra, Drill, and related platforms. 
• You are familiar with the frontend layer of BI tools and understand the key elements of a phenomenal analytical user journey.
• You have practical experience with relational and non-relational databases, and pride yourself on writing performant, easy-to-read SQL.
• You are experienced with cloud-based development processes and automation.
• You have strong instincts and judgment in analyzing requirements
