What you’ll be doing...

You will work on AI/ML engineering initiatives in Verizon 2.0. You will experience building and maintaining robust, large-scale Machine Learning Pipeline designed for portability, composability, scalability, repeatability, automation, CI/CD/CT, performance monitoring, and model dashboarding.

• AI/ML platform’s component implementation and operation.
• Evaluating and implementing AI/ML platform components.
• Implementing and operating machine learning models and ML pipelines.
• Building, testing and deploying prototypes, models, feedback loops, and monitoring systems.
• Delivering solution in an agile fashion so that the AI models that are designed and developed are operational in a production environment as quickly as possible.
• Following and maintaining a reference architecture that relates to use-case implementation of the AI/ML models.
• Self-training on upcoming tools and technologies such as Domino, ICPD to understand AI/ML implementation.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree and four or more years of relevant experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in using any one of the popular Machine Learning languages such as Python, R, SQL, and/or Scala.
• Ability to effectively communicate through presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• A degree. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and / or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML/NLP Model Engineering.
• Unix Scripting experience.
• Experience with cloud environments: AWS or Google Cloud Platform preferred
• Experience working in environments such as Conda, Jupyter, and Hadoop ecosystem.
• Knowledge of methodologies such as Agile, CI/CD/CT, code repo, automation, scheduling, monitoring.
• Experience to tools such as JIRA, Gitlab, Jenkins, ESPX, New Relic, ML Flow, etc.
• Knowledge of Cloud computing with a focus on tools, technology, and development methods pertaining to Machine Learning.
• Knowledge of Information Architecture, Data warehouse/databases, big data platforms, Data Visualization.
• Background knowledge of development, testing, infrastructure, operations, technical architecture, and corporate functions (e.g. security compliance, governance etc.)
• Experience to working with a globally distributed Software Development Team.
