Job Description

As a Sr. Manager, you will lead a team that partners with business planning and operations teams to define and execute data analytics initiatives that create sustainable improvements in operational efficiencies. This role requires business intuition, project management experience, and a working knowledge of analytical processes and tools. This role will develop roadmaps and lead/support execution of multiple key analytics initiatives while building relationships across different teams within the organization.

• Enable business strategy with the use of advanced analytical techniques.
• Partner with operational business stakeholders to identify key initiatives, and engage dataanalytics team members to execute delivery of sustainable solutions to business problems, using advanced analytics.
• Be the strategic advisor to the business to position them for success with the best possible analytics, insights and recommendations based on deep business understanding.
• Track projects from ideation to completion, including creating project roadmaps, project plans, and requirements.
• Lead status meetings and manage frequent communication to business stakeholders and senior leadership, as required.
• Influence adoption of approaches based on varying business needs.
• Be proactive in engaging with the business to drive analysis, ownership and buy-in of recommendations.
• Drive change management, ensuring successful implementation, adoption and application of new capabilities.
• Present complex concepts and results to multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure dataaccuracy/quality.
• Manage and mentor junior team members; lead hiring process for operations team members.

Where you’ll be working:

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You will need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with quantitative modeling, statistics, or data
• Familiarity with database interface tools, SQL and programming concepts, datamanagement best practices.

Even better if you have:

• Master's degree or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to proactively manage stakeholder expectations on current and future business needs.
• Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts in a clear, precise and actionable manner.
• One or more years of experience managing people.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with visualization software (e.g., Qlikview, Tableau).
• Coding experience (e.g., C/C++, Java or Python).
• Passionate about dataanalytics and visionary for how it can be applied, with strong strategic/critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complement.
• Ability to thrive in project environments that often start with uncertain requirements or outcomes; ability to put definition and structure around problems and projects.
• Strong organization and project leadership skills, and strong attention to detail.
